Closing Out a Remarkable Year at Walnut Grove | Walnut Grove Christian School

Another school year has come to a close—and what a year it’s been. From the first day of class to the final cap toss on Saturday, the 2024–2025 school year at WGCS was filled with growth, achievement, and unforgettable moments.

We ended the year in the most meaningful way possible: celebrating the Class of 2024 at our Graduation Ceremony on May 31. Surrounded by families, faculty, and friends, our seniors walked the stage as Warriors prepared for what comes next—equipped not just with knowledge, but with faith, relationships, and purpose.

If you weren’t able to attend, or simply want to relive the moment, you can watch the Graduation livestream replay here:

This year’s graduating class included two outstanding student leaders:

Salutatorian Kameron Figueroa, who will attend Clemson University
Valedictorian Tyler Hanson, who will also attend Clemson University

In total, the WGCS Class of 2025 earned over $4 million in college scholarships—a powerful testament to their hard work, the guidance of our teachers and college counseling team, and the support of families who have walked this journey alongside them.

As we close the chapter on this school year, we want to say a heartfelt thank you:

To our students for showing up with curiosity, courage, and character
To our families for entrusting us with their children and partnering with us in this mission
To our faculty and administrative staff for your dedication, faithfulness, and excellence

Life at the Grove isn’t just a newsletter—it’s a reflection of the extraordinary community we share. And as we head into summer, we do so with full hearts and deep gratitude for all God has done this year at Walnut Grove.

Enjoy the break. Rest well. And get ready—because God’s not finished yet.
