The next Friday School is October 6, 2023.

Students notified of required Friday School attendacne must arrive at the student entrance on the date listed above. Students are notified prior to attending Friday School by the registar’s office and are required to sign an acknowledgement of the Friday School obligation and requirements.

• There is no cost for Friday School when serving for excessive tardiness, however, please see ATTENDANCE RECOVERY POLICY for fees associated with Friday School for excessive unexcused absences.
• Friday School is 8:00am to 9:30am. 

FRIDAY SCHOOL & FULL DAY FRIDAY SCHOOL RULES

• Students must arrive promptly.No one will be admitted after 8:00am.
• Students must bring their books and work to do during Friday School.
• Students must keep their heads up and their eyes open.
• Students may not talk or make any unnecessary noises.
• Students may not have food, candy, gum, or drinks. (For Full Day bring a lunch and water bottle)
• Students MAY NOT use any electronic devices during attendance recovery. Cell phones will be collected upon entry. The WGCS phone policy consequences apply during Friday School.
•  Students may be removed for any disruptive behavior and will not receive credit for any time spent during that session of attendance recovery.
• Students must follow all other school rules.
