WGCS International Student Admissions Process

Thank you for your interest in our International Admissions.

APPLICATION

For consideration of acceptance all documents must be translated into English.

  • A copy of the first or main page of your passport must be uploaded into our application.
  • Application fee of US$775 (non-refundable) must be submitted at that time. The application fee is non-refundable if a student is denied a visa for any reason.
  • APPLY: Create an Account Then log in to your account and Create A New International Student Application.
  • Enrollment for accepted students, for the fall term, is open through the summer, space permitting, but July 1st is the general deadline date for most International Students. Those applying for spring term must have their applications submitted by December 1.

APPLICATION DECISION

Once an application is received, it is reviewed by the Admissions Team, and then an acceptance decision is made.

  • The student or agency is then notified by e-mail of acceptance.
  • An invoice is emailed along with WGCS’s bank routing information and the student or agency is required to submit payment of one (1) full semester by wire transfer (1/2 of Tuition Yearly Rate).
  • WGCS will then send the I-20 and other admission documents by DHL delivery, which takes 2 or 3 days to arrive, depending upon your country of origin.
  • WGCS issues the I-20 for the F1 student visa, which is for multiple years.
  • WGCS does not issue J1 or M1 visas, nor do we get involved in trying to switch a student from a J1 or M1 to an F1 visa. We are strictly an F1 educational facility.

ACCEPTED STUDENTS

  • Once accepted, first semester tuition of $7,000 is due at time of enrollment.
  • Second semester tuition of $7,000 is due by January 5.
  • If a student is denied acceptance for any reason, WGCS will return 100% of any paid tuition by wire transfer. However, the application fee of US$775 is non-refundable.
  • Once a student has arrived and enrolled at WGCS, that current semester is nonrefundable.
  • WGCS reserves the right to charge a late withdrawal fee in the amount of 1/4 of the tuition if advance notification of one month is not given before a withdrawal.

TRANSFERRING WITH AN I-20

Can you transfer to WGCS from another I-20 issuing school? Yes, you can! From another American school, most credits will transfer. The same is true for a good majority of international schools. If you are an international student, studying at another American school that holds an I-20 for the F1 student, that school must also transfer your I-20 to WGCS.
