As we approach Thanksgiving, our hearts are full of gratitude for the incredible community that makes Walnut Grove Christian School such a special place. Life at the Grove is about more than classrooms, sports fields, and events—it’s about the people who bring it all to life.
This Thanksgiving, we want to take a moment to express how deeply thankful we are for YOU:
Our Students
Every day, you remind us why we do what we do. Your curiosity, creativity, faith, and determination inspire us as we help you grow academically, spiritually, and relationally. You make Walnut Grove a vibrant place to learn and thrive.
Our Families
You are the foundation of our community. From the car line to the bleachers, from parent-teacher meetings to moments of prayer, your partnership makes all the difference. Your commitment to your children and to our school fills us with gratitude.
Our Faculty
Your passion for teaching and faith in Christ shine brightly. You pour your hearts into every lesson, every prayer, and every interaction, preparing students for life beyond the classroom. Your dedication is a blessing to our students and families alike.
Our Administrators
Behind the scenes, you keep Walnut Grove running smoothly, ensuring that everything we do is rooted in excellence. Your leadership, vision, and faithfulness pave the way for our school’s mission to thrive.
Friends of WGCS
To our alumni, sponsors, donors, and supporters—you are a vital part of our story. Your ongoing love for and investment in Walnut Grove help us grow and reach new heights. We are so grateful for your prayers, generosity, and encouragement.
It’s the people of WGCS who make this school so special. This Thanksgiving, we are truly thankful for YOU.
From our Walnut Grove family to yours, we wish you a joyful Thanksgiving filled with faith, family, and love.

One of our commitments at Walnut Grove is helping families transition from one grade to the next each year, and especially when they’re making big transitions from preschool to kindergarten, elementary school to middle school, and middle school to high school.
That’s why we’re thrilled to announce a special event for our current 5th, 6th, and 8th-grade students to designed to spark excitement about next year: A Day in the Life!
On December 4th, students will step into the shoes of the next grade level!
5th graders will experience 6th grade.
6th graders will preview 7th grade.
8th graders will get a taste of high school.
They’ll attend classes with their future peers, join in exciting activities, enjoy lunch and recess with the next grade, and start imagining what’s ahead as part of the WGCS family!
PLUS December 5th students will attend chapel with their future grade and participate in a student Q&A panel, where they can ask questions and hear firsthand about what’s next. Parents are invited to join us for this special day!
Our hope is that this two-day event would be another way we are helping to care for students during these important transitions in life.
