The American Legion’s Boys & Girls State Program (PBS and PGS) offers a distinctive opportunity for young men and women to understand the American system of government and politics by engaging in a mock governmental system.
It is an honor to be chosen as a delegate to Boys and Girls State. Rising seniors are chosen as delegates or “citizens” at Boys & Girls State. Those nominated are then interviewed and selected by the local American Legion Post. PBS and PGS consider the program to be as much leadership training as it is an opportunity to learn about and participate in government and politics.
Walnut Grove Christian School had five students selected as 2024 delegates for the program:
Cotton Bain, Tyler Hanson, Wyatt Walker, RJ Rodriguez, and Karis Hunt

We are so very proud of these students for their achievement — demonstrating just one of the many ways our students and faculty Strive for More!
