At Walnut Grove Christian School, we love celebrating the many ways our students Strive for More—in academics, athletics, faith, service, and the arts. Today, we are especially proud to highlight a remarkable academic achievement.
Congratulations to senior Jessica Gozali, who has been named a National Merit Semi-Finalist!
This is a prestigious honor earned by fewer than 1% of high school seniors nationwide, based on performance on the PSAT/NMSQT test. Out of more than 1.3 million students who entered the competition, only about 16,000 have been recognized as Semi-Finalists. Jessica now has the opportunity to continue in the competition for National Merit Scholarships, joining an elite group of students from across the country.
Becoming a National Merit Semi-Finalist is not just about one test—it reflects years of hard work, curiosity, perseverance, and a commitment to excellence. Jessica’s recognition is a testament not only to her personal effort but also to the support of her teachers, classmates, and family who have encouraged her along the way.
We are incredibly proud of Jessica for representing WGCS on the national stage. Her achievement reminds us of the extraordinary things God is doing through our students, and it inspires the entire WGCS community to continue striving for more.
Please join us in celebrating Jessica on this well-deserved accomplishment!
