Getting accepted into Clemson University has become more competitive than ever. Many students who do gain admission are placed into the university’s Academic Bridge Program before beginning full enrollment.
That’s what makes the achievement of six of our class of 2025 graduates so remarkable.
Out of last year’s graduating class, six students applied to Clemson—and all six were accepted directly. No bridge program. No alternate path. Just a straight acceptance into one of the most sought-after universities in the state.
This is an unusually rare feat and a testament to:
- The dedication and drive of our students
- The commitment and excellence of our teachers
- The personalized support of our college guidance process, which partners with families to help students navigate applications, strengthen resumes, and prepare for their next steps
We are incredibly proud of Alyssa Schlosser, Kameron Figueroa, Colton Bain, Wyatt Walker, RJ Rodriguez, and Tyler Hanson for this outstanding accomplishment.

At WGCS, we believe that moments like this aren’t just about academic achievement—they’re about preparing students for life beyond high school with confidence, skill, and a foundation of faith.
Great job, Warriors! Your hard work is an inspiration to our entire school community.
